Guardian of Cross the Rubicon "Gio"
DOB: June 26th, 2009

"Gio" is our young male we kept from the 2009 litter and John's favorite, with an extra points assigned for being not
just smart, but plain cute! He is an eye-catching young male, with still some growing and maturing to do. His tail was
docked following crushing injury and tendon laceration in March 2010.

After passing Intermediate obedience, he was working with odor recognition. Currently, Gio and John are sheep
herding at the local sheep farm.

His show career started at 6 months of age by 3 point major the first week out. On his 1 year birthday, BOS to BIS
Sweepstake Match of Clackamas Kennel Club followed. After a year of break, he is back in the show ring for a short
time, starting September 29, 2011. He was presented in the Bred By Exhibitor class at the Specialty and supported entry
weekend of Empire KBT Club in beautiful Long Island.
All judges were also terrier breeders. Gio was awarded:

Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and Group 3 by Mr. K. Kauffman on Friday, Brookhaven KC, the
EKBTC supported entry for 5 point MAJOR
Best of Winners and 1 point at Suffolk County KC, EKBTC supported entry judged by Mrs. J. Bousek on Saturday
Best of Winers and 4 point Major at EKBTC Specialty of Westbury KC Association judged by Mr. Keith Lovell
from Australia
At the same show, Gio was also awarded Best in (Bred By Exhibitor) Group by Mrs. M. Zingler
